The Analysis of Water Distribution Network of Vysoká nad Labem Municipality
Bakrlík, Marek ; Netušil, Lukáš (referee) ; Kučera, Tomáš (advisor)
The goal of my bachelor’s thesis is to assess the current supply system of drinking water in the village Vysoká nad Labem. The growth of the village has been the cause of the increasing consumption of drinking water. Due to the increase in water withdrawals the pressure conditions in the supply network has been also changed and has been struggling with the legal limits. Particularly the paper will focus on an evaluation of the pressure ratios at the highest point of the village followed by the design of a possible division to the pressure zones due to the potential supply by several sources.
Hydraulic analysis of the Velký Beranov water supply network
Kopecký, Josef ; Remeš,, Bronislav (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
The thesis is focused on hydraulic analysis of water supply network of the Velký Beranov in Jihlava district. A detailed quasi-dynamic hydraulic model of the water supply network was created, and then subsequently calibrated and verified on the basis of measurement of hydraulic quantities on the water supply network. The least squares numerical method was used to calibrate the model. The simulation model illustrates behavior of the water supply network during the characteristic operating conditions of the water supply. The follow-up analyzes carried out assessment of the pressure ratios with respect to the existing and future development given by the zoning plan.
Hydraulic analysis of the Tvarožná water supply system
Trněná, Eva ; Sucháček, Tomáš (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the hydraulic analysis of the existing water distribution system of Tvarožná village. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part introduces the purpose of the work. The second part focuses on mathematical modeling of water distribution system, hydraulic analysis of water distribution system, describe Epanet 2.0 software that was used for modeling and review the current research on mathematical modeling of water distributions systems. The third part of the thesis analyzes in detail the studied area and describes drinking water distribution to the municipality. The fourth part describes the measuring campaign in the locality and its evaluation, which was subsequently used for the model construction. The fifth part describes the input data and the procedure for the model settings in the software Epanet 2.0. The results of the hydraulic analysis are the pressure conditions in the water distribution network, which are compared to the actual valid legislation. Also the hydraulic capacities of the fire hydrants and their location in the municipality are compared to the standard requirements.
Air handling units
Cakl, Dominik ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of problems of unevenly stratified air flow in air handling units and subsequent optimization with respect to speed ratios, energy efficiency and legislative requirements. Methods of solving the problem are theoretical and experimental, while the theoretical part deals with air distribution by means of air-conditioning fans with a focus on their aerodynamics, pressure conditions and other requirements, which are an integral part of properly designed equipment. In the experimental part of the thesis was applied a proposal of an innovative technical approach to a specific model of air conditioning assembly, which was implemented in the laboratories of the Institute of Building Services.
Hydraulic analysis of the Brno - Bystrc water supply system
Hofmannová, Lenka ; Tauš, Miloslav (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is focused on the hydraulic analysis of water storage Brno – Bystrc. The structure is devided into three parts. The first part is devoted to the research of used and applied methods and all available software tools, especially to the EPANET 2.0 programme, which was used during solving of given issue. The thesis also deals with description of specific campaign, which is the integral part of conducted analysis, and with the very hydraulic analysis, process and with the interpretation of acquired results outcome. The last part is dedicated to methodology of determining of the hydraulic capacity in chosen selected hydrants, which are not primarily intended for the fire protection, in the view of the CSN 73 0873 - Fire protection of buildings- Equipment for fire-water supply.
